You have helped to save children’s lives…through the 2009 Children’s Hospital Radiothon held on April 29th, 30th and May 1st at The Centre. The Radiothon was a huge success raising $295,218.00!
Radiothon Raises $340,000
Download JPGThis year's C95 Radiothon held at The Centre October 22nd and 23rd for breast cancer research raised $340,250, breaking all previous records.
The marathon, now in it's 10th year has raised more than $2 million for the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency since it hit the airwaves a decade ago. Radio hosts, Shauna and Rambling Dave spent 36 hours broadcasting from The Centre to raise funds. "We couldn't do it alone," C95 morning host Rambling Dave said in a news release.
"Thanks for the incredible support of the people of Saskatoon and area, we're one step closer to helping people find a cure for breast cancer. " He also thanked everyone who held head shaves, bake sales, raffles and other fundraisers to pitch in for the cause.
